I really like the frame where her goddman ass shows.
GG Capcom.
BTW Felicia is awesome.

Who cares about her eye color when they made her feet fit into human sized heels! It's even painful to watch!

1. It's ironic how you talk about reporting people when your own behavior is way worse.
2. It's not "Darkstalkers fans" who have a problem here, just you. Literally nobody else I've seen who likes DS has ever brought up trivial stuff like this.

Hey, don't you start either. otherwise, I will report you too.
And don't talk like that as well. It's moronic.

That over-reaction tho.

Can somebody ban the dickhead above and delete his post? I am not going to be insulted by assholes like that! And don't compare me with that retard!
It was just a simple explanation on something that's bothered Darkstalkers fans for quite a long time.
So take your business elsewhere, because I am NOT getting into an argument with pricks like you!

In the official art for the original Darkstalkers, she had green eyes. Her in-game sprites from the same game had them as green too, minus certain art which did suffered from 15 colour limitations. Like the first game's character select and ending art.
The error started with the third game's official art, and it's been a nuisance ever since.
It got so bad that even her MVC3 model has the wrong eye colour.

Typically for drawing the characters the artist would use a visual reference though, right? Maybe the blue eyes originally stemmed from some color limitation?

That's an easy mistake to make. In japanese there are words for blue and green, but green is considered a shade of blue traditionally, so its entirely possible someone wrote 'blue' meaning green, and we got blue blue instead.
There have been several books mistakenly translated due to this. Similarly orange is a kind of red in japanese tradition. (Also worth noting, a lot of greek historical figures had violet hair, and the water was purple. Other cultures have weird color issues)

Sigh... Once again, an artist gives her the wrong eye colour. They're green, not blue.
Yeah, Darkstalkers fans share a similar issue with Sonic fans over the blue arms.
Welp, time to correct them in Gimp. Awesome art though.
