I would really try fixing this. I'd try ripping everything instead of just the ghosts as this would really help out a lot. I don't understand why the ghosts are missing several frames of animation though....

Either way, it seems like a cheap, minimalist attempt, expecting everyone to recolor the ghosts' sprites into all four directions when necessary.

And that's not getting into that you're missing the attract mode ghosts (with the simple ":)" expression), the "warning" palette of the scared Ghosts, the ghost's eyes flying back to the ghost pen after being eaten, and the intermission sprites.

the ghosts share the exact same sprites, so they're just separated into the 4 different palettes for the directions. the bottom two are the power-pellet sprite.
