For some reason Ludwig's face uses color F, but since he is a mode 7 boss and his palette works completly diferently, the palette just kinda of loops and turns into color 7 instead, because of the size limitation of 8x8 it normally has, that's what the sprite in the corner is showing. |

If I had to guess, the weird transparency on the Doom explosion is because SNES Wolfenstein and its derivatives use a version of pure white as the transparent color instead of off-magenta. |

This is pretty nice! Very good work on it. One funny thing I thought of, even though it makes sense consistency wise to keep Peach turning into Link like the base SMM2 cast, would be if Peach turned into Zelda instead. It was just something funny that popped into my head when I saw the Link section and doesn't really mean anything. I just figured I'd say it before I forgot about the thought I had. |
