@Keenfan1990 can't be, the "oo" part near the base (idk how else to explain it) has too much black near the edges giving its a hollowed out look, although, the both of them do look similar, but thats probably just because of the NES's limited palette

I believe a bootleg NES game called "Blood of Jurassic" used the Super Shotgun sprite.

Color Dreams certainly had plans along those lines. As for playable homebrews, there's Stuck in Castle Nessenstein, which if I recall correctly only works if you're emulating a PAL system.

Looking at this, which is awesome BTW, makes me wonder if it's possible to have a first person shooter on a NES, via homebrew programming.
