Bootlegs normally work by reskinning a pre-existing game as an entirely new one, as pictured above or the more infamous Titenic and Harry's Legend, which is essentially the same game, but with a different skin.

For the most part, yes. Based on my findings, Ruby came later, and that game doesn't seem to be finished, as it seems to be some kind of debug build. Aesthetically, there aren't many differences, but Ruby has 3 more levels.

I'm starting to think that this game, and as well as the bootleg Ruby, are generally the same.
