@johnston Correct! This also relates to why the CD-i games called them "rubies," since that's what the first game's manual called them while they were absent from the second.

@MisterMike my bad. I could help with the ones like the Crystalis hero if you like but not sure on the cartoons ones like Peter Griffin. Just want to help my friend.

@Plokman The overworld sprites are on the 'Hyrule Overworld' sheet. You're right about the custom sheets though, I simply never found it too important to add due to their simplicity.

@Ton we are missing some important sprites, no character overworld Sprites. All we have are side scrolling stage sprites. Link as well as all of the otherwise excellent customs and enemies have no overhead versions we can't cross Hyrule just the temples!

This game aged vastly better than Zelda 1.

Let me see if I've got this straight....
Objects in an area can have one of 4 palettes.
1: The one Link is using
2: The orange palette, which doesn't change depending on the area
3: The red palette, which depending on the area, has either a black or a dark red "outline," and in towns, has tan substitute white.
4: The blue palette, which works the same as the red palette, but sometimes, the blue is more cyan, and in towns, the blue is purple and white is tan, which explains the purple Aches, Moas, and Bot.

Have I got that right?

@Ton Nope, there's no Moblin sprites, Helmethead's incomplete, and Geldarm is also incomplete. The Old Man is missing the "casting" pose. The Beach encounter background and Graveyard encounter background haven't been ripped. There could be more missing, but I'm not exactly in the position to make requests.

I gotta say, the thumbnails on these rips are the best I've ever seen on this website.

Huh. Is the game over screen the only thing missing?

Wow, this whole section is pretty comprehensive and the thumbnails look great. Props to everyone who worked on this!
