...Joking aside, there's so many outright bad design decisions (Blaze Heatnix's entire stage being the worst offender) that it's easily the worst out of the X series up to that point, enough so that there's a mod out there to improve dozens of the game's issues and make it a much more enjoyable game in the process.

I understand, but most of these sprites are unassembled, which use we can make for that? assembled sprites are always the preferred option i think.

Pretty sure those were the ones from the pre-Sprites Inc site that Heatman/Lord Nightmare did when capture ripping from emulators was easier.

That and they're missing a lot of stuff there. (Such as enemies in most of the games)
Majority of the old rips there are preassembled instead of having everything separate.

Yeah, PS1 ripping is not an exact science and some of the rips on the site are old or technically broken.

@Mortifier777: Additionally, I actually found a ton of errors with the sheets on Sprites-Inc when I was working on my X/Zero sprite rips, so it's always good to have a "second opinion" for rips.
