Did you know you can mash out of burn to reduce the number of hits you take from it, like how you would mash out of dizzyness in Street Fighter II?

Late, but @Ton is correct. This was the most used spritesheet in the early days of the internet, hence the noteriety. Scott Pilgrim, the beat-em-up, also builds up on the foundations of this style by making it much more livelier.

Mega Man should've worn the Met Helmet for this game, it'd protect his head more than his standard helmet.

How can Mega Man stay on the ladder without using his hands?

Nothing wrong at all with the style. I think Gaia means, it was the base everyone used in the early internet to make their OCs.

I disagree. Nothing wrong at all with this style. I was alive to play each MM game as they were released, and this was fresh to a lot of us before the internet made it "notorius".
