I think we left him as "Megaman X" to make searching for the sheet easier.

@funny words magic man: To be fair, the original game does refer to him directly as "Megaman X" in the intro sequence, but regardless it's been changed.

Coming back to this sheet I saw "Mega Man X" which infuriated me because his name is literally X
Just one letter, X
To be fair, it is an old sheet.

@Tailikku:
Here's the sprites directly from the VRAM. The Shoryuken frames are mostly complete under the armour -- note how there are both armoured and unarmoured sprite pieces there. I only did
minor
edits to them to add the missing tiles (which were recycled from other animation frames in the first place), everything else is as-is.

@RTB So are those Shoryuken sprites. I cross-examined with the sheet of Normal X on Ace-Spark's site and it's not on there.

@Tailikku: Those sprites are custom-made, so I won't be adding them to this sheet.
And besides, it's not just that, the Armor part's decreased-damage animation was edited too.

Considering that there is a hack which enables X access to his armor abilities, but turns the armor parts invisible, I think you may need to add the three unarmored sprites of X throwing a Hadouken from that hack, RTB
